Wrestling Information 2024-25

Attention All 6th,7th and 8th Grade Students!

Wrestling season will begin Monday, Oct. 21st  

Wrestling is open to all students. Practices will be held from 3:30 – 5:00, Monday through Friday, in the small gym. 

Athletes need to be signed up on Family ID and have a physical on file.

AMS YOUTH CHEER CAMP INFORMATION

Kids ages 5-10
Now is your time to shine!
The Middle School Cheerleaders are doing a fundraiser where you can perform in the 8th grade Football Half Time on October 23rd.
Parents!
Signups will be held at the HS Cafeteria on Saturday, October 5th from 9:00AM - 11:00AM.
The fee will be $35 for each child.
They will receive a tee shirt along with learning a routine.
Only cash or checks will be accepted!
Practices will be:
  • Tuesday the 15th from 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Thursday the 17th from 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Friday the 18th from 6:00pm-7:00pm
  • Last practice Tuesday the 22nd from 4:30-5:30

ALL SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Azalea Athletic Paperwork

Brookings Harbor School District uses an Electronic Athletic Form. The account you set up now, will be used all through High School! 

 

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE.  The office closes at 3:45.  Please allow enough time for the office to process your registration & notify the coach of eligibility.

What you'll need for Athletic registration: 

  • Person to contact in case of emergency (Other than parents)
  • Insurance Information
  • SIGN UP FOR ALL SPORTS YOUR STUDENT MAY BE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING. 
 

****If your student does not have insurance, you can purchase some at http://www.k12StudentInsurance.com    You will need to have your student ID number, and a credit card.  Print off the confirmation and bring it to the office.
 

Your student must be signed up through FamilyID (above) and have an updated physical BEFORE they can participate. The student must be cleared by their doctor. Physicals are good for two years. Click the link below to print out a physical form.

Physicals require a paper copy turned into the school. 
Physicians MUST use the district approved physical form.  (See link below) 

Changes in Transportation from Athletic Events

NEEDED:
A letter from the parent or guardian of the student stating :

  • Student's name
  • Date of the event
  • Who is taking the student from the event
  • Phone number
  • Parent or Guardian printed name & Signature
 

NEEDED:
A letter from the person taking the student stating:  

  • Your name
  • that you are taking responsibility for Student's name
  • Date of the event
  • Printed name & signature
 

Staff needs to have BOTH letters approved and given to the coach BEFORE departure. 

If any of these steps are missing the student will need to take the school bus home from the event.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
