Superintendent's Message May 28, 2020

Greetings Brookings-Harbor School District Families,

I hope this message finds you all doing well. I wanted to inform you of some upcoming dates and details as the end of the year approaches.

Students will not be assigned any new distance learning after June 4. Students will, however, be expected to complete outstanding assignments specific to their grade. Please watch for details from your principal about completing these learning plans. It is particularly imperative that our high school students work with their teachers to complete essential learnings in each course by the end of the day on June 17 to earn credit.

Our district has issued almost 900 Chromebooks to families during distance learning. Your child’s principal and staff will be communicating to you specifically on how that technology is to be returned.

We will continue to provide food pick up in the high school parking lot on Tuesdays and Fridays through June 16.

I know you are all wondering about what school will look like in the fall after the summer break. We too are waiting patiently for this information so we can prepare to provide a quality education for all our students.

Be safe and take care.

Chris Eberhardt, Superintendent
