Chetco Community Library is graciously giving away a FREE BOOK to every school-aged child in our community. There are three books to choose from with the recommended ages for each.
Unicorn & Yeti: Sparkly New Friends by Heather Ayris Burnell, illustrated by Hazel Quintanilla
Recommended for ages 5-7
New Kid by Jerry Craft
Recommended for ages 8-12
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins
Recommended for ages 13-18
Each title is a recently or newly published high-interest book that is theirs to keep. We are asking students to read the books and then they will be invited to online discussions facilitated by our school librarian team, "Lori Forman with the Chetco Community Library and other BHSD staff, at the end of May/beginning of June. a
