Azalea Middle School Knowledge Bowl 2018-19 School Year 


Knowledge bowl is a trivia competition, where teams of 3-4 students compete against teams from other schools in Southwest Oregon. Trivia questions are based on math, science, language arts, social studies, sports, health and some general knowledge. Below is a list of the days that we will be competing.

There will also be weekly practice sessions every Monday from 3:30-4:30 in Mr. Patchen’s room (27).  The fee to participate is $25.00.

The Multicultural Club
This club explores different cultures and customs.  Students meet twice a month during advisory class with Mrs. Zocchi in room 22 or Computer lab 17.
Magic the Gathering Club
Do you like fantasy? Do you like card games where you have to think a little bit? If you do, then come join us at The Magic the Gathering Club. Don't worry if you've never played before, Mr. Johnson will teach you the ropes.

When:Thursdays after school. 
Dungeons and Dragons Club
Are you interested in action, and adventure? Do you love fantasy movies and books? Do you enjoy telling stories? Have you ever wanted to try playing Dungeons and Dragons? Mr. Boyatt is excited to teach you this fun game. 
Where: Room 5
When: Wednesdays after school.
Student Publications
Are you interested in getting your drawing, photo poem or short story published? If so come submit your work in Ms. Bietschek’s room 25, or on our website @ and click on the "more" tab then the "Student publications submissions" tab and click on the link. We will be holding carnivals and fundraisers throughout the year and volunteers are greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about submissions or volunteering for festivals email us at
