AMS Gets Remodel Over Spring Break

Azalea Middle School underwent an extensive seismic safety retrofit last summer, but there were still a few finishing touches left to do. During this Spring Break, the AMS front offices replaced worn out carpet with new flooring, and new windows were installed in the library and hallway.

The retrofit and remodel is funded as part of the $4.5 million in grants from Business Oregon that the district has won for seismic safety projects in the past few years. Ausland Group of Grants Pass, working with local subcontractors, has covered all phases of the project.
